The first payment for cash and check are due first day of class. For an invoice or other, payment must be arranged before class. The following payments are due before/on the 15th of each month
Tuition rates for regular classes are charged per month. Registration is for the entire semester. Students may add or drop classes at the start of each month (see withdrawal policy). Classes that are canceled by Elaia Academy due to unforeseen circumstances are credited to the following month, or students may choose to utilize the credit by making up a class that was canceled. Parents may inform Elaia Academy through info@elaia.academy 48 hours in advance that a student will be absent from a class and receive a credit for that class towards the following month, or make up the class within the pre-paid month.

Due Date: 1st of each month
Attendance: tuition is prorated and credited to the next month for missed classes as long as Elaia Academy is given 48 hr notice that a student will be absent from the class. Missed classes in May or December will not be credited/refunded but students may make up the session in another Elaia class.
Suspension: tuition will not be refunded for the session that a student is suspended from (See ‘Suspension’). Students will not be permitted to make up the missed class due to suspension.
Dismissal: Parents will receive a partial-full refund for the remaining classes their dancer is enrolled in for the month/semester upon dismissal (See ‘Dismissal’). Students who have been dismissed from Elaia Academy will not be eligible for future enrollment at the school unless otherwise stated.
Registration and Withdrawal:
Students who are new to Elaia must enroll into the level associated with the dancer's age or skill. An Elaia Academy Board Member will talk with the parent/guardian of the interested dancer(s) to determine skill level and compatibility if a student is between classes. Students may bring videos of prior dancing experience to better assist level placement; however, all Ballet 5 students must take at least one semester of Ballet 4 / Pre-pointe through Elaia Academy. Students who have previously enrolled in Elaia Academy will not need to go through the interview process.
Elaia’s Semesters are split between the Fall: August-December and Spring: January-May. Registration will NOT automatically roll over from Fall to Spring. Students must enroll into each class BEFORE the start of the next semester. Elaia will send out registration information via email and handout flyers to students and parents before the end of each semester.
Students may withdraw from classes in the middle of the semester so long as it is before the start of the next month. If you must withdraw mid-month, you will be charged a $30 withdrawal fee per student. Withdrawal will ONLY be considered official if parents email Elaia at info@elaia.academy. In-person discussions with a teacher or staff member do NOT qualify as an official withdrawal. If you need assistance, feel free to email us.
